What happened
During a positioning flight departing from Manaus-Aeroclube de Flores Airport, a single-engine aircraft experienced a critical loss of altitude. The flight was intended to move the plane from the Aeroclube de Flores facility to the Manaus-Eduardo Gomes International Airport.
Immediately following departure from runway 11, which measures 860 meters in length, the aircraft was unable to climb to a safe height. During this low-altitude phase, the plane struck an electric pole. The impact caused the aircraft to stall, leading to a crash into a nearby wooded area. The pilot, who was the only person on board, was killed in the accident.
Findings
