Shortly after departing from Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi International Airport, a single-engine aircraft lost control during its flight toward the Island of Ko Mai Si. The aircraft went down in a forested region situated approximately 30 km southeast of the airport, specifically within the Wat Khao Din area.

Upon hitting the ground, the aircraft suffered a complete disintegration. There were 9 fatalities among the occupants of the plane. At the time of the accident, the aircraft was in the initial stages of flight following its takeoff from the international hub.
