Incident
While cruising in the vicinity of Corinth, the aircraft experienced a failure of its electrical system. This failure compelled the pilot to lower the aircraft's altitude and to execute an emergency landing. The pilot chose an open field as the landing site. However, during the approach, the airplane struck trees and crashed in flames.
Occupants and Damage
The accident resulted in the deaths of the pilot and one passenger. Two other people aboard the aircraft were injured. The aircraft itself was destroyed by the impact and subsequent fire.
