What happened
A twin-engine aircraft crashed in an open field situated in the vicinity of Genoa under circumstances that remain unconfirmed. Upon impact, the aircraft overturned and came to rest in an inverted position. The accident resulted in two fatalities, as both individuals on board the aircraft perished in the crash.
Findings
Investigations into the incident have highlighted discrepancies regarding the aircraft's identity. While the aircraft was identified by the registration N113FT, official FAA records indicate that this specific registration is assigned to a Piper PA-46. This inconsistency suggests that the registration displayed on the aircraft was fraudulent, leading to the conclusion that the flight was operating illegally.
