What happened
Shortly after departing from Tegucigalpa-Toncontin Airport, a twin engine aircraft experienced a loss of control during its initial climb. The incident occurred approximately three minutes into the flight sequence. As the plane ascended, it drifted off course and impacted the ground a few kilometers away from the airfield.
Upon impact, the aircraft caught fire and was completely destroyed by the resulting flames. There were three fatalities recorded among the occupants of the plane, with no survivors reported from the crew or passengers on board.
