What happened
During the final approach phase of flight at Deauville-Saint-Gatien Airport, a twin engine airplane impacted the ground in an area located short of the active runway. The impact occurred within a nearby field, causing significant structural failure to the airframe.
As a result of the collision with the terrain, both wings were completely severed from the fuselage. The force of the crash led to the total destruction of the aircraft. Despite the severity of the impact and the loss of the airframe, there were no casualties reported among those on board.
