What happened
A flight operating a multi-leg route from Culiacán to Veracruz, which included scheduled stops in Puebla and Minatitlán, ended in a fatal accident. The aircraft was carrying a total of eight people, consisting of two pilots and six employees of the Coaster Company.
Approximately one minute after departing from Minatitlán Airport, the aircraft type entered an uncontrolled descent while performing its initial climb. The plane impacted the sea in the vicinity of Coatzacoalcos. Following the accident, small amounts of debris were discovered on local beaches the next day. However, the primary wreckage of the aircraft was never located.
All eight fatalities occurred during the accident, as there were no survivors among the crew or the passengers.
Findings
The investigation noted that the loss of control occurred during the initial climb phase immediately following takeoff from the intermediate stop.
