What happened

On an afternoon survey mission over the Xinjiang province of northern China, an aircraft operated by the Zhongfei General Aviation Company (CFGAC) went missing. The flight departed from Korla Airport at 1600LT carrying a total of three crew members.

While performing its surveying duties, the aircraft disappeared while traveling through the Manas County area within the Hui autonomous prefecture of Changji. Following the loss of contact, search and rescue operations were initiated to locate the plane and its occupants. However, these efforts failed to locate any debris or evidence of the aircraft's location. Due to the lack of any recovered wreckage or survivors, the fatalities are presumed.
