What happened
A private flight traveling from Valencia-Arturo Michelana Airport toward Puerto Ordaz ended in a fatal accident. The aircraft was operating with a crew of two pilots and one passenger on board. While the flight was at a cruising altitude of 30,000 feet, the plane began an uncontrolled descent. During this descent, the aircraft maintained a near vertical attitude before striking the ground. The force of the impact caused the aircraft to disintegrate. There were three fatalities and no survivors among the occupants.
