Accident
On final approach to Toluca-Licenciado Adolfo López Mateos Airport Runway 33, the crew received landing clearance but subsequently informed air traffic control that they would execute a go-around. The airplane then entered a left turn, descended to the ground, and collided with a hangar located approximately 3 kilometers southwest of the airport. The impact caused the aircraft to burst into flames. All ten occupants were killed.
Crew and Passengers
The crew consisted of pilot Juan Carlos Olivares Casas and copilot Walding Sánchez Manzano. The eight passengers were Raúl Gómez Ruiz, Olga Janine Buenfil Cardone, Gustavo Palomino Olet, Raúl Gómez Buenfil, Ilse Lizeth Hernández Téllez, Natalia, Raúl, and Ximena.
The accident occurred during the go-around maneuver after the crew was cleared to land. The aircraft was destroyed by the impact and subsequent fire. The hangar that was struck was located off-airport property. No other injuries or damage were reported.
