What happened
While traveling toward Mendoza, the flight encountered increasingly severe weather conditions. In response to the deteriorating environment, the pilot initiated an emergency descent to attempt a landing.
During this maneuver, the aircraft struck a field situated approximately 20 km southeast of San Luis. The impact resulted in the total loss of the airframe, as the plane was damaged beyond repair.
Injuries and damage
Regarding the occupants on board, the pilot sustained injuries during the crash landing. The remaining four passengers/crew members were not harmed in the incident. The wreckage of the aircraft was destroyed during the impact with the ground.
