What happened
Shortly after taking off from Castle Bromwich Airport, the pilot experienced technical difficulties while en route south. Due to these issues, an emergency landing was initiated. The aircraft eventually came to rest in a field located in Shirley, which is situated south of Birmingham.
Both individuals on board sustained minor injuries during the incident. Despite the successful evacuation and lack of severe casualties, the airframe sustained damage that rendered it beyond repair.
