What happened
The incident occurred during the final approach and landing phase of a scheduled or private flight. The aircraft had departed Sault Ste Marie with the destination set for Abitibi Lake, Ontario. While executing the landing maneuver at the destination, the airplane crashed into the ground for reasons that have not been determined.
The impact resulted in significant structural damage to the airframe, rendering it beyond repair. Despite the severity of the crash and the total loss of the aircraft, both individuals on board survived the event. Neither occupant sustained injuries during the accident.
