What happened
Two pilots were operating a single-engine seaplane on a flight from Rochester-on-Medway, Kent, to Copenhagen. The objective of the journey was to participate in an international airshow scheduled for that location.
Upon reaching the destination area, the aircraft crashed into the waters of the bay of Copenhagen. The specific reason for the crash was not determined at the time of reporting. Following the impact, both occupants managed to evacuate the wreckage safely. There were no fatalities or injuries reported among the crew members.
