What happened
The incident occurred during the initial climb phase following departure from Moncton Airport. Shortly after rotation, the aircraft experienced a stall and impacted the ground, resulting in a post-crash fire that destroyed the airframe. Despite the severity of the impact and subsequent fire, all five occupants were successfully rescued.
Findings
Investigations into the specific cause of the stall have not yielded a definitive conclusion. However, preliminary observations suggest that one of the wings dropped shortly after the aircraft rotated, which may have contributed to the loss of control.
