What happened
The incident occurred immediately following departure from Croydon Airport. During the initial climb phase, the aircraft experienced a loss of control. The uncontrolled flight path led to a collision with a residential structure in Sanderstead, located south of the airport. Following the impact, the wreckage came to rest in the garden area of the property.
The force of the crash resulted in significant structural damage to both the aircraft and the house, effectively demolishing them. All three individuals on board were involved in the accident and sustained serious injuries.
