What happened
A cargo operation traveling from Dhobley to Mogadishu resulted in a fatal aviation accident during the final stages of the flight. While the aircraft was performing its approach to the runway 05 threshold at Mogadishu-Aden Adde Airport, it went down in the Ceel Xabaalbow area, located approximately 24 km southwest of the airport.
The impact occurred under circumstances that remain unconfirmed. The aircraft was completely destroyed upon impact with the ground. There were five fatalities among the crew members on board, with no survivors reported from the five-person crew.
