What happened

During a flight through adverse weather conditions at an altitude of 3,600 meters, a single-engine aircraft went down in the Zagros Mountains, located approximately 500 km south of Tehran. Following the impact, search efforts located the wreckage several days later.

Of the five people on board, three fatalities were recorded. The remaining two passengers were rescued from the site but required evacuation due to severe injuries and the effects of extreme low temperatures.
