Incident Details
A four-engine aircraft operating a survey mission for the US Ministry of Defense encountered a hard landing at Pyongtaek-Desiderio AAF, a US Army airfield also referred to as Camp Humphreys. The landing was abnormally forceful, leading to the collapse of the right main landing gear. Subsequently, the right wing made contact with the runway surface. The aircraft then slid for a distance of several dozen meters before coming to rest.
