2010 Cessna TU 206F Accident in Pastaza

The pilot filed a visual flight plan and maintained contact with air traffic control until 12:42:36 UTC, when the pilot reported an estimated time at the ANBAX position. At 13:03 UTC, the pilot reported an engine failure and a return to Pavacachi. This communication was not heard by the Río Amazonas Approach Control but was intercepted by a preceding aircraft of the same company, which relayed the information to the control tower. The aircraft crashed on the right side of runway 07 at Pavacachi, 80 meters from the threshold. The pilot was found uninjured and was transported to Shell.
