Accident Overview
On a flight departing from San Borja-Capitán Germán Quiroga Guardia Airport, the aircraft experienced a right engine failure minutes after takeoff. The crew declared an emergency and received clearance to return and land on runway 18.
Sequence of Events
During the landing attempt, the approach became unstable. The aircraft failed to land, overflew the runway, and subsequently crashed in a wooded area located past the runway end.
Injuries and Fatalities
Three passengers sustained injuries. All seven other occupants on board were killed.
