What happened
During a scheduled flight traveling from Luqa toward Nicosia, the aircraft departed from its intended navigational route, drifting toward the north. While the flight was in the cruise phase of operation, the aircraft encountered heavy fog. During this period of low visibility, the plane struck the side of a mountain located within the Mersin region.
