What happened
During the early stages of flight, less than ten minutes after departing from Adana Airport, an aircraft experienced an explosion while climbing. The plane subsequently crashed within the Kurttepe Mountain Range, situated to the northwest of the city. The impact and subsequent destruction resulted in a wide debris field spanning approximately 15 km.
All 25 occupants on board perished in the accident. There were no survivors among the passengers or the crew.
Findings
The precise reason for the midair explosion has not been determined, as the exact cause of the explosion remains unknown.
