What happened
During a flight crossing the English Channel, the crew of the aircraft experienced technical difficulties involving the engines. As the plane approached the coastline of France, the pilot in command initiated an emergency descent toward the Le Tréport area.
The aircraft performed a crash landing within an open field. Following the initial impact, the plane slid across the terrain for a short distance before coming to a complete stop. Although the airframe sustained damage that rendered it a total loss, there were no injuries among the three occupants on board.
