What happened
The incident occurred during an initial climb phase immediately following departure from Godman AAF. The aircraft was operating a scheduled flight originating at Bolling AFB and destined for Marshall AAF, Fort Riley, with Godman AAF serving as an intermediate stop. While ascending to an altitude of approximately 300 feet above ground level, the airplane entered a stall condition. This loss of aerodynamic lift led directly to a crash shortly after takeoff.
Findings
As a result of the impact and subsequent events, all 20 occupants sustained injuries. No fatalities were reported in this specific incident description. The primary mechanical or operational factor identified was the stall occurring during the low-altitude climb-out phase.
