What happened
A military training mission originating from Landsberg Air Base ended in a fatal accident during its initial climb. The aircraft had been cleared for departure to proceed to Lechfeld Airbase, situated approximately 12 km to the north of the starting point.
Shortly after leaving the runway, the aircraft experienced a loss of control. The flight path deviated from its intended course, leading to an impact in the Kaufering area, which is located roughly three km northwest of the airfield. The accident resulted in three fatalities among the crew members on board.
Findings
The investigation into the sequence of events indicates that the aircraft became uncontrollable during the early stages of flight following takeoff.
