What happened
The incident occurred during the approach phase to Stephenville. The aircraft, which was equipped with four engines, was descending from a southwestern direction when it made contact with the terrain. The collision took place on the slope of a mountain within the Anguille Mountain Range, located approximately 60 kilometers southwest of the city.
Following the impact, the airframe sustained severe damage and was declared a total loss. Emergency response teams recovered all individuals on board. There were no fatalities reported; all nine occupants were rescued from the wreckage.
