Accident
During a nighttime final approach to Port-au-Prince-François Duvalier Airport, the aircraft lost control. It performed a rolling motion, inverted, and then impacted the ground short of the runway, bursting into flames. The aircraft was completely destroyed. All three occupants perished in the accident.
Investigation
According to Haitian Authorities, the pilot did not submit a flight plan. The flight was not scheduled to land at Port-au-Prince Airport. Throughout the operation, the pilot did not communicate with air traffic control. Investigators found a quantity of marijuana onboard the aircraft.
No probable cause for the loss of control was specified in the report.
