Serious Incident Involving Diamond DV 20 Katana SX-KVA at Kozani State Airport

Incident Overview and History of Flight On February 14, 2020, at 07:45 UTC, a Diamond DV 20 Katana with registration SX-KVA was conducting a solo training flight at Kozani State Airport (LGKZ) in Greece. The aircraft was operated by Egnatia Aviation Ltd. During the landing phase on Runway 32, the student pilot lost control of the aircraft, which subsequently exited to the right of the asphalt runway and came to rest on soft ground.
