What happened
Following the transport of passengers to Curitiba-Afonso Pena Airport, the crew began the return flight to their base in Jundiaí. The flight departed from runway 11 during the night under conditions of limited visibility. Approximately two minutes after the departure, the aircraft reached an altitude of 300 feet and entered a cloud layer. As the flight continued its ascent, the aircraft performed a left turn and reached 700 feet before initiating a right turn.
Following this maneuver, the aircraft entered an uncontrolled descent. The impact occurred in a field situated approximately 3 km northeast of the airport, in the vicinity of the Guatupê Police Academy. The wreckage of the aircraft was completely destroyed. There were 2 fatalities involving the flight crew.
Findings
At the time of the accident, the flight was operating in marginal weather conditions characterized by nighttime operations and a cloud base at 300 feet, which contributed to poor visibility during the initial climb phase.
