Accident Details
On approach to Mogadishu-Aden Adde Airport, the aircraft touched down on runway 05. The crew initiated the braking procedure. After traveling a few hundred meters, the airplane deviated to the left and veered off the runway.
The aircraft then contacted soft ground alongside the runway. During this phase, it pivoted to the left through almost 180 degrees until it collided with a concrete wall. The impact caused the aircraft to come to rest broken in two.
Occupant Outcome
All 34 occupants were rescued from the wreckage. Among them, two passengers were reported to have sustained injuries. The extent of their injuries was not specified.
