What happened
During a scheduled supply mission over South Vietnam, an aircraft was targeted and struck by enemy ground fire. The impact resulted in the destruction of the plane as it crashed within the region.
There were two individuals on board at the time of the incident, consisting of the pilot and a co-pilot. Both members of the crew sustained injuries during the event. No fatalities were reported among the crew members involved in this specific mission.
