Occurrence Details
On 3 July 2018 at approximately 2:00 PM local time, a Boeing 737-300, registration N331CK, experienced a loss of cabin pressurization while en route to Miami International Airport (KMIA). The aircraft had departed from Port-au-Prince International Airport (MTPP) with three crew members and no passengers on board.
The pilot reported that the incident occurred at an altitude of 35,000 feet, approximately 40 nautical miles southeast of Lynden Pindling International Airport (MYNN) in Nassau, Bahamas. An emergency descent was initiated to 10,000 feet, and a diversion to MYNN was requested. The aircraft landed safely at MYNN without incident. No injuries were reported among the crew.
