Accident Overview
A topdressing operation was being conducted over hilly terrain in fine weather. The pilot had ceased sowing and initiated a right-hand turn. During the turn, the aircraft lost a considerable amount of height for reasons that could not be determined.
Impact and Aftermath
The aircraft struck the terrain under power, with a bank angle of approximately 60° and a nose-down attitude of about 30°. The impact and subsequent post-crash fire resulted in the total destruction of the aircraft. The pilot received fatal injuries.
