What happened
While performing a flight from Nioro, the crew of the aircraft encountered mechanical issues during the journey. In response to these technical complications, the crew initiated an emergency landing procedure.
The aircraft subsequently crash landed in a field situated approximately 2 km from Koussané. During the landing sequence, the plane skidded for several dozen meters, resulting in the loss of its undercarriage. The impact caused the left wing to strike a tree, which led to partial tearing of the wing structure before the aircraft finally came to a stop.
All 10 occupants on board were successfully rescued from the wreckage. Among the group, two individuals sustained injuries during the incident.
