Incident Sequence
During the takeoff roll at Bergamo-Orio al Serio Airport, the captain initiated rotation when a sudden loss of power on both engines occurred. The decision to abort the takeoff was made, and the captain began emergency braking procedures. The aircraft was unable to stop within the remaining runway distance and overran the end of the runway.
Subsequently, the aircraft struck several approach lights, lost its nose landing gear, and came to rest approximately 200 meters beyond the runway end.

All 31 occupants evacuated the aircraft safely. The aircraft itself was damaged beyond repair.
