Incident Summary
On 1 July 2008 at 19:01 UTC, an Airbus A320, registration CS-TNG, operated by TAP as flight TAP-945B, was authorized to line up on runway 23 at Geneva Airport (LSGG). Concurrently, an Airbus A321, registration partially given as F-????, operated by Air France as flight AFR-1242, was preparing to land on the same runway. The event was classified as an air traffic management (ATM) incident.
Aircraft and Operator
The TAP aircraft was an Airbus A320 with registration CS-TNG. The Air France aircraft was an Airbus A321 whose registration was not fully specified in the initial report.
