What happened
During an operation in the western portion of the Turks and Caicos Islands, a seaplane was involved in a waterborne accident. After completing a landing maneuver, the aircraft struck a submerged reef. The impact caused the vessel to sink into deep water.
Despite the sinking of the aircraft, all four occupants on board were successfully recovered from the scene. There were no reported fatalities or injuries during the rescue operation.
