What happened
During a scheduled training mission conducted for the Iranian Aircraft Manufacturing Industrial Company (HESA), an HESA IrAn-140-100 was involved in a fatal aviation accident. The flight was being operated as part of a training program for the manufacturer. As the aircraft was executing its final approach to Isfahan-Shahin Shahr-HESA Airport, it crashed, resulting in the total destruction of the airframe.
There were five fatalities recorded in the accident. The occupants of the aircraft included one instructor and four student pilots.
