Summary
On 19 May 2019, a Robinson R44 Clipper II helicopter, registration B-KTK, operated by the Hong Kong Aviation Club, broke up in flight while returning from a solo flight to Shek Kong Airfield. The fuselage impacted terrain on a private farm and botanic garden west of Tai Mo Shan Country Park and was partially destroyed by fire. No distress call was made. The pilot sustained fatal injuries.
