Incident Overview
On 15 July 2023 at 19:00 UTC, a Tecnam P2008-JC aircraft, registration LV-FQS, was involved in a ground collision incident at Aeródromo Río Tercero (RCR) in the province of Córdoba, Argentina. The aircraft was conducting a general aviation flight for recreational purposes, operating under visual meteorological conditions (VMC).

The incident occurred during the taxi phase. The aircraft was departing from Aeródromo Río Tercero and destined for Aeródromo Villa Rumipal (VRU), with a planned flight duration of 10 minutes. While taxiing, the aircraft collided with a hole on the aerodrome surface. The impact caused the nose gear shock absorber to break. Damage to the aircraft was classified as minor.

The Dirección Nacional de Investigación de Sucesos Aeronáuticos (DNISAE) conducted a documentary investigation in accordance with the Manual de Procedimientos de Investigación de Accidentes e Incidentes de Aviación Civil (MAPRIAAC), fifth edition, Chapter 2. The investigation concluded that the findings did not present significant elements that could contribute to the improvement of operational safety in the State. Consequently, the case was filed and closed without further action.
