What happened
On July 15, 2023, at approximately 19:00 UTC, a Tecnam P2008-JC, registered as LV-FQS, was involved in a ground incident at the Río Tercero Aerodrome in the province of Córdoba. The aircraft was operating a general aviation recreational flight, transitioning from Río Tercero toward Villa Rumipal. During the taxi phase of the operation, the aircraft struck a pothole on the aerodrome surface. The impact resulted in the breakage of the nose landing gear strut. There were no fatalities or serious injuries reported, though one person on board sustained minor injuries.
The investigation
