On 10 September 2022 at 16:24 UTC, a Stinson 108 aircraft, registration LV-FZI, experienced a loss of power while cruising at an elevation of 1160 feet. The pilot executed a precautionary landing in a rural field approximately 20 kilometers southwest of Laguna Larga, Córdoba Province, Argentina (coordinates 31° 53′ 34″ S, 63° 58′ 27″ W).

The aircraft, serial number 108-700, was privately owned and operated for general aviation recreation. The flight originated and was destined for Alta Gracia Aerodrome (AGR) with a planned duration of 1 hour 30 minutes.
