Overview and Investigation Authority On June 30, 2024, a Shock Ultra ultralight aircraft with the registration JU8889 crashed in the Tsagaan Shokhoy Valley area of Erdene Soum, Töv Province, Mongolia. The accident was classified as an aircraft accident by the Air Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) of the Ministry of Road and Transport Development of Mongolia. The investigation was conducted in accordance with Annex 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation and the Civil Aviation Law of Mongolia.
