What happened
During the final approach to Belo Horizonte-Pampulha Airport, the aircraft encountered severe weather characterized by heavy rainfall. While the crew was on short final, the plane began an uncontrolled descent. The aircraft struck the ground near a motorway, landing a few hundred meters before reaching the runway. The impact resulted in the total destruction of the aircraft. There were five occupants on board, and all five individuals sustained injuries during the accident.
Just three minutes before the impact, the crew had communicated with Air Traffic Control to report that the flight was proceeding normally and that all conditions on board were stable.
