What happened
During a flight originating from Mogadishu, the crew began their descent toward Djibouti City-Ambouli Airport. At the time of the incident, runway 09 was the active runway; however, the flight was cleared to perform an approach to runway 27.
As the aircraft was executing a final left-hand turn to align with the glide path, the plane became uncontrollable. The aircraft subsequently impacted the sea. There were four fatalities among the occupants of the aircraft, with no survivors reported.
