What happened

A cargo operation traveling from Bukavu to Shabunda experienced an accident during the landing phase. The aircraft, operated by a crew consisting of one Russian national and one Congolese national, was transporting 1,300 kilograms of various goods at the time of the incident.

Upon completing the landing roll and traveling approximately 300 metres along the runway, the right main gear tire experienced a burst. While the aircraft sustained damage that rendered it a total loss, no injuries were reported among the two crew members.
