What happened
During a nighttime approach to Huế-Phú Bài Airport, an aircraft encountered heavy rain and low visibility. As the flight was performing its landing sequence, the plane struck the ground and subsequently caught fire.
The accident resulted in a significant loss of life. Of the passengers on board, six fatalities were recorded. The crew members survived the impact, though five injuries were reported among them.

At this time, the specific reason for the aircraft's descent and subsequent impact remains unidentified. Investigators have not yet determined why the plane crashed during the landing phase despite the known presence of inclement weather.
