What happened
After completing a routine mission involving paratroopers over the Biskra region, the flight was in the process of returning to Biskra-Mohamed Khider Airport. As the aircraft was performing its final approach to the runway, it experienced a stall. The plane impacted the ground a few hundred meters before reaching the runway, where the impact caused the fuselage to break into two separate pieces.
All nine crew members on board sustained injuries during the accident. While the aircraft was completely destroyed, the initial reports indicated that the crew survived the impact. However, one day after the crash, one of the survivors passed away due to the injuries sustained during the event.
