On July 8, 2025, an Antonov An-2, registration RA-07873, was operating a flight from Milkovo airfield to the Ozernovskoye settlement. The flight was intended to transport seven passengers and 115 kg of cargo. Prior to departure, the aircraft had been prepared for flight by technical personnel from LLC "AVIATEHNO" at the Milkovo airfield.
The crew arrived at the airfield at 9:30 on the day of the flight. While the captain received a report from technical services confirming the aircraft's readiness, the crew did not undergo a medical examination due to the lack of medical personnel at the Milkovost airfield. The captain proceeded with the flight following pre-flight preparations conducted between 10:30 and 11:00.
During taxiing, the captain verified the braking system, noting a pressure of 50 kg/cm², which was within the limits specified in the flight manual. The aircraft took off from runway 24 at 11:07.
During the landing phase of the flight, the aircraft overran the runway in the area of the Ozernovskoye deposit landing site. There were no fatalities, serious injuries, or minor injuries reported following the incident.
