On March 11, 2022, an Mi-8T helicopter operated by OOO Airline "BARKable" was performing pipeline patrol duties. The flight was scheduled to traverse airspace class G, following a route from Pereslegino through the Velikie Luki pumping station and Nevel before returning to Pereslegino.
The crew initially departed Pereslegino at 06:05, but the flight was terminated by the dispatcher because the submitted flight plan specified a 07:01 departure. Following this, a second takeoff was performed at 07:01. The mission proceeded along the planned route at altitudes between 100 and 150 meters.
During the landing approach at Pereslegino at 08:26, the aircraft RA-22681 experienced a right roll accompanied by a simultaneous left rotation. This movement caused the rotor blades to strike the ground and ground objects, resulting in damage to the helicopter.
There was no fire reported during the event. All crew members evacuated the aircraft independently and were unharmed. The incident resulted in damage to the aircraft but no injuries or fatalities.
